Are You Ready to Fly Sheridan? New Quality Air Service Coming in November!

newsWe are thrilled to announce a big win for Sheridan residents and anyone planning to travel to our beautiful part of Wyoming to view real estate.

Recently, as the president of the Sheridan-Johnson Critical Air Service Team (CAST), I signed a contract with Denver Air Connection. As a result of this contract, Air Service will be returning to Sheridan in November!

This is something we at CAST have been working on for months and now the dream of bringing an exemplary air service back to Sheridan, Wyoming is being realized.

Denver Air Connection will begin operating daily non-stop flights between Sheridan County Airport (SHR) and Denver International Airport (DEN) on November 19.

This is a victory for the entire Sheridan area community as well as CAST. After all, this development will help encourage business growth as well as facilitate easier travel for residents. What’s more, having this direct connection will also foster greater local tourism.

I for one believe that high quality air service is vital to the overall Sheridan economy.  And I am pleased to report that I recently was able to purchase my very first ticket through this service for a trip I’m taking in December.

Thanks to this new service, I will be able to leave my house at 7 a.m., be in Denver by 9:30 a.m. and then have plenty of time to catch my flight to the East Coast! Now that’s quality service!

What Else You Should Know About These Daily Flights

Denver Air Connection will provide 13 round-trip flights per week on a 30 passenger Dornier jet.

Denver Air Connection began passenger operations in 2007 and already has services between Grand Junction Airport (GJT), Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (BJC), and Centennial Airport (APA).

In 2014, Denver Air Connection carried more than 13,000 passengers to and from these locations.

What’s more, this organization also provides charter services to major collegiate sports teams (including the University of Wyoming) as well as to oil field services, major corporations, politicians, celebrities and others!
