Whether you’re a lifelong local or first-time visitor, this is the week that showcases everything that makes Sheridan special.

July 9–12 | The Sheridan WYO Rodeo
Sheridan County Fairgrounds
The heart of the week is the legendary Sheridan WYO Rodeo—a PRCA-sanctioned event that’s been thrilling fans since 1931. Expect:
- Indian Rely Races
- Bare back riding
- Tie-down roping
- Steer wrestling
- Team roping
- Barrel racing
- Saddle bronc
- Bull riding
Don’t miss the row of food trucks at the fairgrounds—serving up everything from fair favorites to local eats.
WYO Rodeo merchandise and t-shirts will also be available on-site—grab one early before they sell out!

Tuesday, July 8 | Boot Kick Off
5:00 PM at Whitney Commons Park
- Stick Horse Races (Ages 8 & under)
- Boot Kicking Contest (Ages 9 & up)
